Accreditation
American University of Technology is accredited by the European Agency for Higher Education and Accreditation (EAHEA). EAHEA is an international quality assurance, rating, and accreditation agency, working to improve quality assurance standards of educational organizations all over the world. With its global network of experts, EAHEA grants accreditation to educational institutes, vocational institutions, distance learning centers, corporations, professionals, and qualified individuals.

Regional accreditation bodies have dutifully evaluated education providers on a regional scale and granted them Primary Accreditation. However, the rapid growth of globalization calls for a global entity that can evaluate them against internationally proven standards of education and grant them an internationally recognized Secondary Accreditation. EAHEA provides international and independent accreditation to the education providers to serve as secondary accreditation, enhance the entity’s regional accreditation, and assure stakeholders that the educational program, policies, and procedures of the institute, university, and school are up to the international standards of quality. American University of Technology is accredited by the European Centre of Independent Certification in E-Learning (ECICEL). ECICEL Accredited Membership is a system of review that periodically evaluates the extent to which an institution achieves its own objectives and meets the standards determined by ECICEL. Evaluation addresses operational and curricular issues fundamental to the delivery of quality education and training, via the medium of online, distance, or open learning. Consideration is also given to in-house quality control systems. Members are assessed to ensure that learners receive a product that is consistent with the values and policies set by the ECICEL.
Membership
The Forum focuses on developing and implementing standards of good practice, encouraging and supporting research initiatives, and offering educational programs and resources to its members. Its mission is to help to improve education abroad programs to benefit the students that participate in them. It is achieving this goal by establishing standards of good practice and quality assurance programs, improving education abroad curricula, and promoting data collection and outcomes assessment, all to advocate for high-quality education abroad programs.
The United States Distance Learning Association is a non-profit association that promotes the development and application of distance education. It was formed in 1987 and is based in Boston, Massachusetts. USDLA provides advocacy, information, networking, and opportunity for its members.
